A Message From Rev. Tudor Roberts

All Saints Church Lydiard Millicent is a great Church, and I hope  that you may come to worship with us. We are an Evangelical Anglican Church with people from many church backgrounds, and those  exploring what it means to follow Jesus. ASLM has a dedicated Church Council including an LLM Mr David Cain*.I came to faith through St Michael's Paris where I was discipled, and learnt to love God,and read the Bible systematically.Books by John Stott,CS Lewis,J.I Packer,Chris Wright,JC Ryle, and NT Wright have rooted me in the Christian Faith.I teach theology each week for the Diocese.

I trained at All Nations Christian College and Trinity Bristol, where I met Tricia (now Associate Minister at All Saints), both Colleges are passionate about training people for a lifetime of Gospel based ministry. From All Nations I caught a love of learning and teaching God’s word, and at Trinity we caught something of the joy of ministry.  We provide a good welcome, engaging Sunday services and pastoral care and teaching that will challenge and encourage you.Tricia,a trained teacher, worked for 2 years at Lee Abbey where she learnt a lot about living in Community and did a year working in Christ Church Winchester prior to training for ordination.

We have imaginative Children’s work on Sundays, and through school's work including assemblies at a variety of local schools. All Saints gives to Mission organisations like CPAS  CMS, MAF, and Sat7 (see links)  that reach out across the world as well as locally. We are linked with the Diocese of Lowero in Uganda.

If this is the sort of Church that interests you then do get in touch. From Holy Communion to fun children's services to quieter 8.00am Services, All Saints is a Church where you can find the presence of God, be challenged by God, and healed by God.Enjoy too, singing praises to God with flute, organ, guitar, and piano!

To try us out, come on any Sunday, the times are on this website, and  you will discover that what we do as a church is much more than just on a Sunday, and through it all we are a church with Christ at the centre, and a sense of humour to go with it! Mid week Home Groups enable people to build friendships and grow in Christ, and know God as Father.

I am 59 and Tricia is younger!.We have two children, we own a black Labrador and a cat, my hobbies are pastel painting, and I speak French and Spanish, was born in Wales, but all our services are in English!Tricia was born in Somerset and brought up in Surrey, Hong Kong, and Wiltshire. It is great to live in North Wiltshire on the edge of Swindon, and welcome people to home and Church. We are excited to begin to  see people come to faith and become disciples. Why not join us as we be family, make disciples, and serve others.

Rev. Tudor Roberts.

Our Bible Verse for 2017

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
