PCC and Governance

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.” 1 Peter 4:10

The PCC is a team of church members who prayerfully serve with the vicar to guide and support the life, ministry and mission of All Saints. Together, they seek to honour God, remain faithful to his Word, care for the church family, steward the church’s resources wisely, and help share the hope of Jesus with our community.

As the governing body of the parish, the PCC is responsible for supporting the practical and spiritual life of the church, helping to ensure that All Saints continues to grow as a faithful, welcoming and Christ-centred community.

Governance

The PCC is a corporate body governed by Church of England legislation and registered as a charity under the Charities Act 2011. This means it operates in accordance with both church law and charity law, with a commitment to transparency and good stewardship.

The PCC meets regularly to discuss parish matters, make decisions, and plan for the future. Meetings are run to an agreed Code of Conduct.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)

The APCM is held once a year and is open to everyone on the church’s electoral roll. It’s an opportunity to review the past year’s ministry, finances, and future plans.
