Church warden's rods.
There are many opportunities to serve at All Saints Church. The first step is that you need to come on the Electoral Roll and for that please talk to the Churchwardens or one of the Clergy, Part 2 of our vision is "make disciples" and part 3 is "serve others"
You can easily help with things like the coffee rota, the flower rota, the cleaning rota, going on the gardening team, being a sides person and or welcomer, etc. Wish to read Scriptures and or learn to lead prayers or be a sidesperson, help run the sound system or projector, etc, then we can train you. Speak to our Vicar or Tech team. We will point you in the right direction
For helping with music and singing please see Mrs. Ginnie Heads, or talk on a Sunday to Becky Harris our flutist, or Anne Dwight our Organist. We now have children and youth playing instruments in our services when they are free to do so.
At All Saints, The Church Council ovesees and guides children's and youth work, publicity and communication, pastoral care, worship and music, buildings and health and safety, finance and giving. We also have a sides person team and a prayer ministry team. For details please speak with the Churchwardens and or Vicar.
We have a leadership team, called a PCC, and photos of them are on the Photos section of this website.
Clergy are Revd Tudor Roberts, Revd Tricia Roberts Associate Minister.
We welcome people who wish to help with children's work (or any area of service), but we will first want you to be a member of the Church so that you can identify with the vision statement of this Church and the basic beliefs of the Christian faith as seen in the Creeds. You will also have to apply for and have a clean DBS check and references taken up as well in accordance with safer recruitment. You will also need to be willing to do training with people like the Bristol Diocese, Scripture Union, or this Church. It's an enormous privilege to work with children and young people and we welcome Christians who are trainable, teachable, dependant on the Holy Spirit's gifting, and ready to join our team.
Jesus called his disciples to him and sent them out to preach the gospel, heal the sick and raise the dead. As you begin coming regularly to All Saints you might offer to read scriptures or to be involved in another way. At All Saints, we believe God, calls people to love, obey, and serve him. Should you wish to take your faith more seriously we suggest you start with Alpha and or by joining a home group. Have a word with the Revd Tudor Roberts, Revd Tricia Roberts, or Churchwardens John Halstead and Andrew Roberts, and they will meet you, pray with you and seek the best path for you.
Whatever your gifts, we hope you discover All Saints to be a place where you can, like a plant in the ground, grow and produce much fruit and that this is to the Glory of God and the building up of His Kingdom. If nothing fits timewise, then speak to us anyway, so that we can explore some one-on-one mentoring with you.
